The Baltic States are suffering badly - Latvia looks bankrupt, for example.

The EU Banks loaned vast amounts of money to these old communist states and I doubt they will be paying it back.

If you have accounts on the Continent I would take a long hard look at them ... Austrian, Swiss ..

Was reading the front pages from a continental newspaper 2 weeks ago , Belgium at the time - and they catagorically ripping into Gordan browns government and declaring that we were bankrupt
