Right, I got out of my Three contract. Got my PAC code! WOOHOO.

What do I do now? Do I go for the curve 8900 (18 month contract)...or wait for the Onyx BlackBerry Onyx Review - First Impressions | CrackBerry.com and do with my 6300 for now? Arrrgghhh

lol sorry mate, I had a flick thru the forum earlier but been out all day.

Well done, thats exactly what I would have suggested anyway.

I think the Onyx is gonna be a while appearing yet anyway. Very similar to the 8900 but has 3G....
tbh I will be doing exactly the same I think, but when the Onyx comes out I might actually bite the bullet and buy one !

When you getting the 8900 ?

It'll be delivered between 8 and 12am tomorrow. Not bad as only ordered 1630 today!

Vodafone, 600 mins, 3000 texts. Unlimited internet. Push service. £34.26/month. Can't complain really.

PUSH is a service which is attached to data services these days on phones that require it.
It "pushes" the email and data through, without you having to connect and send-receive.
"Always connected" is the other common description.

I'm twenteen nine so need more texts! Plus I hate talking to people...bah.

No idea how much "Push" costs, but said I can cancel it if I don't use it. I'm awful at remembering to check emails...so should help!

Need a list of "must have" apps!

lol Semper im the same, although the bonus of the berry is BBM blackberry messaging which saves texts, as long as the other person has one too lol.

Having your email arrive quickly is very handy, would not be without my BB now.

If you have a BB you wont be cancelling the push or it will defeat the object of having one lol.

Must have apps, free or pay for ones?
What sort of thing you after?

Facebook if you use it, FlickR uploader if you take pics lots and use FlickR anyway. Berryweather if you like knowing the weather forcast (love it lol)
Capture It for screen captures, QuickPull 2 for resetting the phone from time to time, Shazam if you like music and always wonder what the tune is called. Viigo for news, stocks, shares, sport etc on the move as well as customisable RSS feeds.

That should do for now

There are endless chat clients, from the BBM to MSN, Yahoo, Google Chat, and others that join them all together.

Have a look on CrackBerry.com ? The #1 Site for BlackBerry Users & Abusers at some of the stuff.
Just like the iPhone there are pointless apps, and some very good ones.

RAGING!! RAWR!

Rang Vodafone after no delivery between 8 and 12.

"We have a tracking number but it wasn't actually sent out. "
"Noone will be in tomorrow to accept it"
"We can't change the delivery address at this time"
"So what can I do?"
"Erm erm erm"
"Just cancel it..."
"I'll have to put you through to returns"
"Return what exactly? I don't have the phone"
"Erm erm erm"
"Just send it out, delivery won't be possible, it'll return to you and I'll deal with it then..."

Useless shower of ****e! Next service provider...

Hope you get it sorted soon.
You can get a similar package on Orange, they are usually ok with delivery.
Soon find out anyway, im expecting my latest phone very soon lol.

Online you can choose delivery times too.

Hopefully you click with it when you finally get it. Hope its worth the wait.

I was sitting here counting how long that would take.
Would even the balance of the device swingers I guess, with DeepSingh dumping the iPhone for a BB after it bricked lol.

Totally agree mate.
That used to annoy me about O2, as they would only deliver to the address on the account. Which most working people WONT be at during delivery times. Im sure thats changed now.

Orange are good about it, deliver where you ask, online tracking, SMS updates etc.

Hope you get it Friday mate. It will be phone day for us both lol
