Still a bit dreary eyed, but it was worth it just for the start..... it was amazing how Ralph got out OK and another great move from Montoya
It must be a bit disturbing for the other teams knowing that Ferrari are running last years car and still leading the field

Yaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn. .. will wake up at some point today, I hope
It was worth watching, I still don't understand why they didn't restart the race, OK it was possible to clear up under the safety car, but it detracted from the race as a spectactle by continuing with only half the number of cars.

I've just got up. Couthard had gearbox prob's it was stuck in neutral, shame for him can see his season being riddled with problems.
Shumacher of course showing his hunger, he was lucky with the start not to get caught up in all that. I thought they would of red flagged it.

Agreed Nath. Not going for a proper re-start ruined the entire race. Lunatic decision. I bet Bernie will be having words.
I also think Rubens caused the pile-up, weaving around like an idiot. But if Ralf had half the brain of his brother he would have avoided contact.
All in all a crap race, unless you're an Ozzy Minardi fan. And it's a real shame the Ferraris were so fast. Must have put the wind up the other teams.
Richard.

I went to bed and got back up.
It was a re-run of one of the races last year want it.
Not much of a change was it.
Schumacher will be world champion again this year if that race is anything to go by.
He would not of won all those world titles if Ayrton Senna was still here.
Formula one needs more drivers like Montoya,Vileneuve, who will fight for the race win but only in the right car.

As a Schumacher fan it was the perfect result
Barrichello did weave about a bit, but when Ralf (not Ralph) ran in to the back of him he was going in a perfectly straight line. Clearly Ralf's new glasses have not worked.....

I watched the start from Ralf's in-car camera (F1 digital). Got a bit of a shock!
I think that they should have restarted the race, it got a bit boring towards the end.
Lack of sleep is catching up with me now, but it was worth it.

Always interesting the argument that if Senna hadnt of died Schumacher wouldnt have been champion that season. I'll admit I wasnt much of a Schumacher fan in those days but I still remember he won the first 3 races of that season with Senna making some newbie like mistakes. That 4th and fatal race of the season Schumacher was in 2nd and closing in fast on Senna before the crash. I also remember that the Williams Renault car was the fastest car that season (and the previous 2 at least) so I think Schumacher would still have won or at least made it damn close. Either way we will never know

I was up anyway, just call me an insomniac Or geek, same thing..
The crash was Ralph and Ruben's fault, even if Ralf didnt hit Rubens there was no way he was going round that corner, he hadnt even started to think about braking, but Rubens was weaving a bit..

To Montoya's credit though he did say that Shu went past him "like I was parked" then "just drove off" - or words like that.
At least he didn't try to blame his car like most others do when they get taken.

Would have done if I hadn't had a call from work at 02:55! Then spent the next hour working...
Had to spend the entire morning not listening to the radio etc to avoid hearing the result before watching the mid-afternoon repeat.
