I see they have cut their interest rate to 1%. They are starting to suffer now so I wonder if it won't be long before the £ strengthens against the euro

Went to get me Pounds changed for US Dollars yesterday....I got 147 to the Pound, and whilst i was in there the cashier commented on how high she has seen the pound against the Euro and other currency's.

Suppose it could all change tommorow, but i noticed the BOE has decided to keep the intrest rate the same today.

I'd give good odds that the £ will NOT rise against the € at least until the holiday season is over.

Call me a cynic if you like............

What a delusional chap you seem to be. Have you forgotten the national debt that we will be paying off for many years to come?

Can't think where you got that idea! My memory is not good enough to carry that one off for a start. Doesn't mean to say I can't take the "****" though!
