"Sorry..."
Blink and you'll miss it:
BBC NEWS | Politics | Brown 'sorry' over e-mail slurs
There, that wasn't so hard was it? Although I'm sure he is acting purely in an attempt to save his own skin.
Now he's got started McMentalist should get cracking with all the other apologies he owes the people of this country.

The best bit is Brown's spin docs and cabinet crony's have been saying all week that he has nothing to apologise for as it was not him that did it just one of his close circle of advisers. Priceless!
Now all Brown needs to do is apologise for all the other screw-ups including his time as chancellor and then grabbing the long awaited poisoned chalice from Blair and becoming prime minister right up to the current day!

Probably did it at a dock/ship yard in the hope the microphones would not pick it up lol..
I find it sad and pathetic that someone in such a position cannot bring himself to apologise for mistakes WHEN they happen, instead of when he feels like it.
Im sure thats 1 in 100 though and 99 other things will go without so much as acknowledgment that he had anything to do with it.

IMO those people should also apologise for getting it wrong, and talking utter crap too.
Same old story, deny deny deny oh sod it, go with the flow and do the right thing.

I think he had little choice since he was being hammered over the scandal not only by the Opposition but also by many in his own party.
Leaving it so long before he actually did it removes any real value as far as an apology goes anyway.

I object to taxpayers money being wasted on these so-called advisors when what they are really doing should be funded by donations to the party they are supporting.
