Default Dogs not well...

We've had her for 14 years and got her from a rescue home when she was 1.

Fantastic dog, really mad personality, doesnt like the rain, scared of water and now almost completely deaf.

Shes having trouble breathing now, still mobile but I have a horrorable feeling shes not long for this world ...

She has known my sister for 14 years, my sister was 14 when my mum died so technically my sister has known the dog, longer than she knew my mum, so as you can imagine the connection is strong...

Very difficult times...

14 is a very good age for any dog mate, what breed is she?
We lost the wifes 11 yo Boxer a few year ago and my Springer and Lab x both 12 yo, the latter 2 where my working dogs so not really 'pets', always lived outside, but it's still f'ing hard when the time comes to let go
Don't be selfish, when you think she has had enough, do the right thing, i'm sure you will.
All the best to you and yours

We still miss the two cats which we had for a long time too. The older one was 22 when he died. Well and truly part of the family.

I am sorry for your dog, hope all goes for the best.
