Somalian Pirates - FAIL!
A group of pirates got a nasty surprise when they attacked a merchant ship - that turned out to be a German naval vessel.

Yup, no doubt, sends a message that a slp on the wrists and an afternoon spent looking through Somalias version of Hijack Boat Trader is all they will get. Bullet through the head would have stopped them

Just playing Devil's Advocate here but coming from such a nice place like Somalia, wouldn't you want to "get ahead"? And bearing in mind that education is probably not at the forefront of the Somalian Government's (??) agenda, surely it is not unsurprising that the difference between a frigate and cargo ship has not possibly been explained to would-be pirates?
The place is a sh1te-hole, who can blame the poor sods for wanting something better. Now, do we need to go back to colonialism to find the root causes?
