Is it really worth it?
Owning a sports car,my mate had his evo stolen in the early hours of thursday morning(broke in and took the keys)and then you get jealous tw*ts who go out and damage cars on purpose. It just makes me think,is it worth it?

Yes unfortunately it is indicative of the way things are now.If they have not got ,then they get their thrill out of damaging what someone else has worked hard for.
Someone once left a nice footmark on my rear bumper when I had my Subaru .
Now I drive a Seat Toledo it does not seem to happen funnily enough .
Spineless Cretins .
It should not stop people enjoying having a nice car though ,otherwise they win .

Whats the alternative though ?
Only drive a £100 shed in case someone damages it ? Only live in a cheap house full of cheap stuff in case someone is tempted and breaks in ? Never own anything nice in your life, and just look at all the money you could have spent sitting in your bank account ?
Whatever you have it will always be better than something someone out there has, and there will always be scum who see this as a reason to damage or steal it.
Its what we pay insurance for, and I think making a decision to not have something you want because it 'may' be stolen or damaged is giving in to the scum and giving them exactly what they want.

It is down to jealousy and inbuilt vandalism of course. No respect for others and their property any more.
I hate to say it, but it hardly seems worth having a high performance car on our roads anymore anyway. Hardly ever get the chance to enjoy it now.
