Any recommendations of bullet cams?
A friend is looking for a camera to use to film while on his motorbike.
I cant for the life of me remember the name of the brand I saw at MPH a couple of years back.
I think the preference is one that can write directly to an SD or similar card.

To be honest mate i'm not sure about the ATC5000 its only a CMOS chipset, if you want a better quality picture you'd be better off with a proper bullet camera setup and make sure the bullet camera is at least 480-520 tv lines and a CCD chipset that is a Sharp or preferebly a Sony device - of course it all depends on what quality you want.

It has been used on track days and high speed Autobahn runs with no problems.
He uses it attached to an Archos.

If you wanna spend a bit (er, a lot) more money, have a look at the Race Technology VIDEO4 Video and data logging system which can also hook-up into other data sources.

Not a lot really.
He he just wants something to pop on helmet or bike visor for riding.
Lower end of the budget, but best pic poss and sound is a bonus.
