You MUST visit Tom's Restaurant in Brooklyn for all day breakfast. As featured on the Griff Rhys Jones program it is a real must...breakfast will never be the same! Be prepared to queue and be fed coffee, cakes, oranges and syrupy toast...whilst in the queue. Brilliant place and a real experience!

New Yankie stadium, I think it will be all open now. They only moved late last year so it will be cool to see the new one.
Not sure how much your life will like it.

Exercise your neck looking up at some fantastic buildings .Everywhere you go

Empire state building worth a trip up there .

Nice bar at the basement in Macy,s .Monster size burgers .!!!!

Have a walk into Central Station .A fantastic building ,more than just a trian /tube station .

firstly take comfortable trainers or shoes as you will do loads of walking and wrap up warm no it really is that cold much colder than you think wear hats gloves and scarfs!!!!

secondly get an open top bus tour you can get it from outside any of the main attractions but the main stop is south edge of central park.it will take you to all the main attractions and has a tour guide to tell you everything you want to know just hop on and off!!!

visit ground zero.the united nations building and go inside.times square.natural history museum.central park.the underground its like walking in the film set.........if you dont get mugged in central park then you will in the underground just joking!!!grand central station is worth a visit for the ceiling!!!
go to the ice rink restaurant on 5th avenue next to the rockerfeller centre.

id spend money on going places and activites rather than shopping.
but if its shopping then 5th avenue.

lastly ask your brother what to do in new york.......ya warmer
