was when it was 11p... back to 23 ish now aint they?

Mate made a mint (well enough to have to pay Capital gains tax on it.

How hard is it to actually buy them, say I wanted to buy £500 @ 23p, how would I do it.

Wait until the government buy the other 30%, then the taxpayer will be totally liable for a company that's worth **** all, then watch the share price shoot up

It's a bit of a gamble! I bought Northern Rock shares when they were cheap, and then they went up a fair bit - but I ended up losing everything when they went bust!

I couldn't resist having another gamble with RBS, and if they don't nationalise the bank they will see a good rise - but it's a gamble! I considered buying more a couple of days back, but didn't get round to it.

Currently up 100% in a week after buying at 11. something pence each.
