Default is the SEMA show always in Vegas

If so, can anyone who has been to Vegas, recommend hotels and "other" evening entertainment. and by "other" i don't mean cocaine and hookers**

** though i wouldn't be too fast to rule this out

I think a couple of the hotels have slot machines and a few gambling tables....

Next time I'm there, I wouldn't mind going to see Cirque Du Soleil - KA at the MGM Grand. I've seen one of the other CDS shows over there and it was pretty spectacular. This one is meant to be amazing.

KA, you seen the ticket prices!!! we're looking at going to see it in June, but at £210 for two tickets in grade 2 seats.. its a bit expensive for an 1.5hr show lol

Ouch! Didn't see the ticket prices! I can see why it's so expensive though, the whole stage is worth millions. It lifts, turns, interacts with the performers and is generally something you have to see to believe by all accounts.

Went to see Ka when I went August 2007. Certainly wasn't £210 for a pair then! Think we paid £450 altogether for 3 tickets to Ka, O and Love - all CDS shows. Worth every single penny and would recommend any of the shows to anybody - juat amazing!!

get a cheap flight to mainland and then fly from gatwick.
flights from Gatwick to vegas are about £500 return at the mo. you can get cheaper but there with Delta airlins and they have a STOP so not direct.

Try Expedia. I booked two weeks before we went which was over August bank holiday. Stayed at MGM, me hubby and stepdaughter. Cost just under £1500 for 3 of us, flights and hotel. Booked all the CDS tickets through them too.

sounds about right, if 7nights at PH was going to cost us £700 each (£100 a day inc flights)

now looking at 14days at £1100 each (with 7days in vegas)

just need to shop round
