Newcastle?
A few mates and I are heading down to Newcastle on Saturday for a night out (mates birthday) Just fancied a change from the norm.
Any suggestions on where to go?
Cheers
Dan
(if you dont like Newcastle, or had a **** night when you were there, dont post to tell me about it, thankyou)

Quayside, plenty of bars.
For a cheesy night night full of chavs and mares, the Bigg Market.
Few bars in the Gate and around the Haymarket as well.
Or you could go for a massive crawl starting up in Jesmond(Osbourne Road) through the day then heading into town, once in town eveything is withinm walking distance

Depends what you're going for?
TBH, stick to the Quayside. All the bars are pretty much the same. They can get stupidly overcrowded, due to the popularity of the place. FYEO (strip joint) is ok, but I only go if on a Stag night.
Nightclubs are pretty sh*te in Newcastle I've found.
Stay ways from the Big market unless you all like a good fight.
If you're going for a few drinks, a laugh, followed by a nightclub. May I suggest Yarm. Good pubs, hardly ever any bother, and Tall Tree's on a Saturday night is spot on.
I personally keep away from newcastle now. Too overcrowded

Start off in Osbornes in Jesmond - go early for the happy hour & fit barmaids
Head into town, I would have suggested Bar Pacific, but it is utter toss now IMHO, so maybe Gotham Town opposite Central for Vodka jugs, then onto Revolution for some shots!
you could then go to the Living rooms or Perdu - but I find they are full of pretentious twats & lasses that are up thier own backsides. I always liked The Attic, although if you are white & you go to the attic room you might feel a bit out of place
Across the road is Ant & Dec's gaf - The Lodge - is ok but there are better bars.
Make your way down to the Quayside, The Akenside is alright, along with Chase, The quilted Camel & Offshore 44.
If you want to go clubbing, and you fancy some cheese, head to Buffalo Joes for the barmaids in chaps & the mechanical bull, then Baja's Beach club.
I've missed out loads I know, you could go to the Gate & stay there all evening - Mood is a decent club.
Hope that helps
