Of course what will actually happen is that through taxation the British public will put him up in a soft British jail for the next 5 years or whatever during which time he'll get good meals, a comfy bed, exercise and entertainment facilities and maybe even a prison job where he can learn skills and earn a little. He'll no doubt be taught to speak English, be given medical care and upon his release he'll probably be entered into various schemes to help him find a job/house, etc.

I hate this country.....we are such mugs.

I tend to think that what he spouted was just a feeble attempt at down playing his actions in the hope of people thinking "awww, bless... he only did it to intergrate into British society".... and as such get a slap across the back of the hand and avoid prison.
