Best Mobile and network deals
I'm after a new phone and contract but the choice is mind boggoling, I've been on pay as you go for the last few years so totally out of touch with whats hot and whats not e.t.c. Fancy something with half decent camera on and want a decent amount of free calls and texts. Signal doesn't really seem an issue round here either and I want to spend around £25 a month.
thanks in advance, jonny

You can get a v. resonable deal on a resonable phone with a lot of minutes with a cashback deal from eSave etc..
I assume most people cant be bothered with filling in forms etc

Ok, its a bit tricky to pick any phone for you, now what do you require from your phone?
Do you want to use it just for text messages and browsing the internet? or are you going to use it for other purposes like the camera, MMS, video streaming??
Networks are then personal choice, I will always point you to the one I work for but that would not be right (and blatant advertising!)

A phone that may be up your street wiht a few other functions is the Samsung M8800 Pixon, gets very good reviews now you can have a look here (other networks have a similar part to view phones) but it gives you an outlook on what you may be after phone wise

Have to say they really are smart phones, packed with gadgets (most of which ill probably never use ) however the picture quality is top notch!
The phone is very well built (alot these days seem very shoddy indeed, and look like they'd fall to pieces after 3 months, never mind an 18 month contract!)
I got mind free as an upgrade with Orange for £35 inclusive of insurance (600 cross network minutes + unlimited texts) so ill never spend more than £35, which is fine by me, as i used to pay £45/50 regularly
Definatly worth a look if your after a cool touch tone phone with a good camera (8 mega pixles), pics look great on my Pc

Just bought a new mobile myself, so went through the usual investigation to get a good deal. Got this in the end
Dial-A-Phone
Nokia 6300
Orange "Racoon" 24 month contract
£25 per month (but works out at £16.25 per month after £210 cashback)
500 mins per month
100 texts per month
Unlimited landline calls
Magic number every 6 months (you nominate a number and calls to it are free)

Samsung i8510, awesome phone and camera. I had a Viewty before and this thing is in a totally different league altogether. Anyone want to buy a Viewty? The i8510 can be had from Orange or O2 for £35/month

ant - yes i had heard three's signal was not all that. that's one of the things that puts me off.
on the other hand , i have always had (at least for the last 10 phones or so) a sony ericsson. been very pleased with them (esp the camera side of things) and it's handy that i have soo many chargers that fit! sony ericsson apparently do phones which are compatible with skype, so i may just upgrade the phone and stick with orange for the next 12 months
