Taster of my first game music CD - Cyberspeed Remixed
One of the video games I wrote the music for was a game called Cyberspeed - way back in 1995.
Whilst the game didn't (understandibly) review very well, the music faired a lot better. The mixes however, I was never very happy with and I've finally found the time to rearrange and rerecord the orginal tracks using more recent technology.
I'm not finished yet, and the 2008 title will now be 2009, but here's a taster of what I up to if we can get the baby to sleep

lol - well my wife is Turkish
Good ear Dan. Yep, the original was done on an 01w with a DR660 and Kurzweil K2000. Had the use of a JV1080 and Akai S3000 in the studio.
This time, everything is soft synth.

Hey Paul,
Rob Hubbard is God! It was my reaction to hearing Commando on the C64 when I was 12 and had got a 2nd hand machine for my Xmas/Birthday present which made such an impression on me and I decided I wanted to write music using computers. Did a couple of duo gigs with him at some of the Back in Time gigs.
Amiga eh? that was my excuse to not go to college. If you ever heard of a chip musician called TDK in a group called Melon Design, or Anthrox... that was me.
Those really were the days

I blame the Amiga for all my IRC days where I spent way too much time talking in real chat rooms but it did teach me to type fast lol.
Sadly I have always been musically challenged but I have played around with 'computer' music in my younger days as I would imagine many people did.
I am going to point this thread out to my bro later as he will be amazed at this one.
