Driving over to watch the football tomorrow, but don't fancy the hour or so wait to get out of the official car park.

Anyone know of any car parks nearby (or free streets) that are easily walkable to the stadium?

Just over the road there is a travel lodge ( might be a premier inn), well around the back is customers car park, its free and the trick is this...
Park in the back, walk through the back door through the reception to the front of the building.

Works for me everytime, If you worried put "staying in room 110" in the window or something.

You'll be about a 10 minute walk away there and you have to possible exits to miss the traffic!!!

bare in mind I live in Surrey, I am sure some locals will know other places.

I'm a jinx as they seem to lose just about every game I get to see.

When i went to see an event there a while back i was able to get parked in the stadium car park.

If not there is an industrial estate over the road that you can probably find a parking space on.
