By the time you've sorted through a thousand bricks in order to find 200 useable bricks, and spent more time cleaning them up, you may as well just buy new bricks.

Unless you need a certain type of brick to match up with (its only a garden wall) then its easier to lay brand new bricks then 2nd hand ones.

You can also get new bricks that are tumbled to look like old bricks, and you also have the option of buying clean reclaimed bricks from a salvage merchants.

Just my 2 cents worth!

Should be able to buy them for ~36p each which is 72 quid for 200.

What about ebay?

reclaimed bricks 30p each

Or try any free ads / free papers where you are?

Or seen a self build project anywhere?

Or a building site might have spare stock? ('spesh at night time!)

As its for a garden wall, you could use B grade / seconds which would be cheaper?
