Default Sainsburys "Taste the Difference" ready meals.

If anyone is at a loss for a meal to cook at home easily, I can heartily recommend the above, having had "one or two" over the last ten days while wifey has been in China

Moussaka, Beef in ale with dumplings, Lamb cobbler and west country chicken and wild mushroom bake, all excellent.

When I was working away in'th big smoke I would live on them, 5 days a week living out of a hotel room is no good, the staff canteen was fairly hideous - TTD stuff saved the day, we used to compare microwave meals lol, although after a couple of years it did get a bit boring! My world came apart when they stopped doing TTD Thai Red Curry and sticky rice.

I can recommend their syrup puddings and also their bread and butter puddings. Thyey have got a "Festive" bread and butter pudding just now which comes in an enamel dish-bit more expensive but has a taste of something Christmassy in it

8p?

I can't believe anything could taste good for 8p!

Does it come in a glass jar? That and the logistics of putting it on a shelf in the shop must cost more than the sauce ingredients!

Yes it`s in a glass jar and was on offer last week for just 4p.

I know what you mean, it must be costing money to put it on the shelfs
