"The Swap" on ITV: What happened?
#1
Having settled down last night to watch the end of "The Swap" on video, the <expletive deleted> video didn't get the last ten minutes or so...
So does anyone know what happened? Last bit I saw was the bad guy offering the wife the chance to disappear with him on Eurostar, by the escalators at Waterloo station.

She refused to go with him. Meanwhile the husband had rung the coppers and Charles was picked up at the top of the escalator.
Husband then tells wife that she really owes him one now but she confirms that she is still leaving him and taking the kids.
Last shot is of her walking away on her own.
It was a bit predictable wasn't it!!!!!!1

This is really sad but the bloke said he was on his way to Waterloo to get the Eurostar to Paris. If he was at Canary Wharf (which he was) why didn't he go onto the platform and get the Jubilee Line? That way he wouldn't have bumped into the Old Bill and he'd be clean away.
OK - I'll get me coat.

The only problem was, Sal and I had worked out roughly what was going to happen by the end of the first episode - shame really because it sort of drifted from there. The end was fairly predictable.
Too many lose ends - like how did the solictor manage to exchange contracts on the house without having confirmation that the money had reached Anderson's account? No solicitor would ever advise to exchange without first having the money. etc etc
