How deep were you diving? Is it scary? There's a part of me that would like to and a part of me that is terrified at the prospect of it. A fish once brushed past my foot in the sea in Greece and it scared the living daylights out of me

we're recreational (aka wussy ) divers, so never deeper than 35m.
when i was learning the most difficult thing i found was letting my brain figure out that when you breathe through your mouth - through your regulator, you don't use your nose. the trick for me, like when you're supposed to remove your mask, was to breathe out slowly first to calm down a little that my nose was nekked 'in the ocean!' and then consciously breathe in through your mouth, smile that you managed to do it and then drown because you let water in the sides of your mouth lol!
sort your buoyancy out, don't touch anything and the rest is gravy - just enjoy the view.
... although...
on this trip, suzy and I came face to face with a big barracuda that wanted to go where we were - not like there wasn't a fvcking huge ocean around us! - anyway, it squared up to us from about 20 feet away and opened it's jaws and was twitching it's tail.
we looked at each other and shot behind the dive guide who was absolutely p!ssing himself!!
