Default Mortgage rate drop

As from the 1st of november some banks will be reducing the mortgage rate, it has to be good news for a few out there!

I'd have thought they would avoid passing it on to customers as much as they could in their time of financial need

I think its part of a condition of the government bailing them out ?

Hopefully ease the pain for a few then but I still think rates are really low anyway and people are only in difficulty because they overstretched when they borrowed.

I see the rates are still a lot higher than the bank rate.Nearly 2%!

Most banks put their rates up last week so there's no real gain

Savers lose money after inflation. The indebted get a cheap ride.

The ups and downs always annoy me. It goes up 0.25% and we are paying £40 more, it comes down 0.25% and we save £15!
