Traffic light 'Pod: Polo GTi, XR2i, Fiesta 1.1 (?) etc.

I think they just wanted to see me boot it.

Sat behind an RS2000 in Reading, he boots it, I boot it. Couldn't close in, although he couldn't pull away either (through 3 gears). Respect to the Ford boys for that one.

1. Vectra turning off a motorway onto a 270' left-turn slip-road.
Result: Vectra drifted completely out of the left lane of the slip road and into the right lane. Fortunately no traffic overtaking him at the time.

2. Rover 400 series turning off a roundabout onto a motorway.
Result: Rover just manages to avoid understeering off the slip road entrance into the concrete wall that holds up the motorway.

I could go on, but you get the general idea.

2.4 audis ,vectras, calibra (who did some highly dodgy lane swapping to get in front i just followed him around a 270 degreee bend laughing at him as his backside slid all over the place while i just sat a few feet behind taking it esy).
but easily the funniest was an old cavalier sri who i gave a head start to at the lights his face was an absolute picture as i flew past.
the audi got quite close on the straight and i couldnt understand how until i remembered 200 weight of tiles in my boot.

Not quite the right way around but I had a new S Type Jag try and get away from me along the single track farm road leading to my village (always muddy). Very amusing watching it slide all over the place from behind. How many times can someone look in their mirror! No I wasn't tail gating either just keeping the distance the same, and no I wasn't baiting him, he did that on his own.

This is a typical story...

Dviving down the A34 from Ox last summer, sitting in outside lane at 90ish and a white Renault 19, with all the bits came roaring up behind - At first I thought old bill - and then I realised, so I squeezed up to about 115 and low and behold they came puffing up again .. Now in these situations, you can either let them past or put a smile on you face - so a back off to 90, drop it down and a full bore 4th gear in the power band sprint soon ensured ..

Needless to say by the time 130 in 5th came up they were literally having an 'asthma' attack !

The reason this sticks out amoung lots is that I was really pissed off on that day - and this one incident left me with a smile for the rest of the afternoon...

Good old Turbo power ehhh !
