What a great movie, absolutely nothing like the original(thank god) Doesn't take itself to seriously as most heist movies do, and a very good story and not bad acting as well.
Top film: 8/10

C'mon then Craft how have you seen Oceans 11 all ready - didn't think it was out until the 14th?
Only posting this because I'm getting hassle from the missus (Sal ) to go and see this (as you can see from the post above)

Is something wrong with me?
I saw Ocean's Eleven (has been released here for a few weeks already) and fell asleep almost as soon as they started talking about how difficult it was to get in, with all the technology guarding it. Like they did in Charlie's Angels, and in Mission Impossible, and in ....... I knew they'd succeed, didn't see the point in watching much more.
As for Vanilla Sky, felt like walking out half way through. At the end, yes it is clever, and there is some sort of moral about true love (er, what?), but per-leeze get it over with in less time! Spent half the film looking at my watch, then was depressed for the rest of the day. All it needed was a Smiths soundtrack and it would be a great film to slash your wrists to.
Ah, minority viewpoint again, I'll just go back to my sensible car and sensible life

ChrisL, it's not what ya know, it's who ya know
Just got some special screening tickets from warnervillage online. Basically, it's sent via email, ya print it off, take it to your local WV, and they give you special tickets in return. The screening was at 2300 saturday night, but saved us £10, result!!

Vanilla Sky
Expected more from a Cruise film - what I ended up seeing was rather depressing to be honest, and it DID seem to drag on too long.
Sort of Elephant Man meets Love Story meets Total Recall, if you see what I mean.
Nice Ferrari though.

Vanilla Sky, I actually enjoyed the film... that Mustang a was gorgeous car...
Rather bizarre though.. did keep you guessing right to the end..
Training Day is quite impressive managed to fill a film with violence and action and have a story line..
off to see From Hell tonight I think.. anyone seen it??

Brendan, a bit ironic really, you saying minority viewpoint and Tom Cruise in the same post. As his new film is going to be called Minority Report. Looks like it's goin' to be a minter, directed by Spielberg, and a sci-fi to top it off!!
Set in the future, where cops have a machine that tells them about a crime before it's goin' to happen, and who's goin' to commit it, turns out Cruise's character is one of the "Perps" and goes on the run, and tries to prove his innocence. Also, plod sort of float around with jet packs on, a bit like Rocketeer, sort of
Looks like a good un'
