Just got home from work to find a nice letter from them on the mat.

Interest rates going up from 15.9% to 21.9% pa


Thats 1 hell of a hike!!

It's MBNA issued - They did that to me a while ago on an MBNA card. I phoned them and said put it back or close the account. They closed it. Still advertise the lower rate though!

My 0% ends with them soon.

It'll be moved elsewhere straight away, and to another 0%

I cocked up a payment and they removed my 0% instantly and hit me with a £12 fee. Full balance now with another company for the next 14 months at 0% I really need to close some of my old cards down so I can apply for them again later

I've just gone with them this week, on line for a credit card with 15months 0% interest on balance transfers and purchases!!
