not sure where to post this as there are so many moderator/daft posts/pete posts floating around- so this is as good as any!

it does seem rather odd that there are posts on "how often do you 4 wheel drift your car" "whats the fastest car u kept up with" "i've been out racing today and cut up a 911 at 200mph while doing the congo on the bonnet" etc

some are fun but a fair amount are either untrue (in which case bit odd to bother making up) or true in which case these ppl are tools.

either way its strange that some posts get cut while others run and run???

I couldnt quite get my mind around what was going on - I just knew it wasnt right. You have crystalised my thoughts!

It IS amazing how some very sad threads, 'I can drive sideways for days' go on and on and some (trying to add a little humour - of a certain brand), with certain names attached, take a bashing!!

Well, Fat Bloke - I also think you are an undeniable to55pot!! However you and I kinda understand each other which means we KNOW what we are doing when we slag each other off (BUT then someone without a clue joins in and gets eaten alive, doesnt like it and complains!!) - they dont 'get-it' see??

'SOME' moderators see their point of view and clamp down on it, but leave others (worse in my opinion) to run and run. I think they should use the tool of the 'view' counter - some, real sad posts dont get over 10?? whilst one with a bit of pslewis attached hit the high 100's!!! -usually anyway- where is this particular one? Thats NOT boasting its just the plain truth!

Different moderators deal with different sections. We are not "The Borg" collective, contary to certain opinion

Surely a man of your class and intelligence can work that out...LOL...

We all work to similar guidelines, but we have different views on certain matters. Bear in mind that we are based all over, and don't have cosy little meets over coffee every week...duh....

I for one will only delete threads in here which have clearly libellous content [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img] or double posts.

All the crap gets moved to the muppet show, where it should be from the beginning.

I'll only lock dross in Non scooby, as opposed to something controversial which I for one am happy to let run, unless it becomes libellous, threatening or whatever.

Its a no win job sometimes and all we get collectively is **** for doing the best we can. Not that I care, to be honest.

I'm not God, no one here is (cue dumb post from poster with that username ).

BUT, we have to make decisions sometimes that not everyone agrees with.

Well hey, thats life, so stop whingeing about it

Oh, and shrink that head of yours too. Trust me, you ain't that "special" a case that you merit any particular attention from the moderators

When you edit a post there is a bug that turns the date foramt to US. i.e. 10/2/2002 becomes 2/10/2002.
