Mistakenly sent wrong parcel
I've recently sold two laptops on ebay. One good for £360, and one for spares for £14. I sent the 14 quid one to the guy who paid 360, but haven't sent the good one to the other guy.
It was sent recorded, and I have a Royal mail tracking number.
It was sent yesterday.
What can I do? Can I have the parcel intercepted and re-delivered to the correct address?

Send the good one to the guy who paid £360 right away. If he sends the crap one back send it to the other guy, otherwise refund him and remember not to be so stupid next time !

He might be willing to post the £14 one back but he might want reimbursing the postage.
If you dont want any negative feedback you might have to bite the bullet and stump up for return post and post it out again to the right person. Or, ask the guy who has it to send it straight to the other guy as that will save posting it twice.

Done the emailing thing right away, but no contact yet. I asked him to not accept the package.
The £360 laptop is going by courier, so I'm awaiting confirmation on something anyway.
What I wanted to avoid is the guy opening it, seeing it a crappy spares only laptop and I've then got to ask him to package it back up to forward on.
Judging by the responses, there is no way of intercepting?

Yep. The good one is awaiting confirmation of delivery address from him before I send it. I do already have his address, hence the mistake, but as the courier firm I use charges for re-delivery, I want to offer him the option of sending it to another address.
