Slough/Maidenhead Recommendations for a pub/lodge
Can anyone recommend a pub/lodge type place in the Slough or Maindenhead area which has a large room to cater for upto between 40-50 people which also does nice buffet food?

Stayed in a place just outside of slough on the way to Uxbridge...... runs off to find receipt.
Pinewood hotel - recently refurbed, caters for wedding etc etc. Food was good. Worth a call. Lots of Parking and set in it's own grounds. Take an air rifle as well as their were loads of rabbits hopping about at dusk and dawn
(that was a joke for anyone who is easily offended).
Accomadation was OK to, aircon rooms, clean tidy..........

I stayed in De Vere Denham Grove nr Uxbridge that was very good for the money tbh (£39 a night for double b&b) and nicely out in the countryside. If your staying in slough or uxbridge make sure your packing a piece

The Great Little Pub Co
and click the Novello. They can offer a buffet for up to 100 people. It's on the main A4 just outside Maidenhead, close to M4 etc

I am just looking for a room to accomodate upto 50 people for a family get together (on behalf of my Dad). We were wanting some type of buffet food as well.
If people want to stay over, then they can do. Just in the early stages of finding somewhere in the middle from where all the family are coming from at the moment.
