Angry "EBAY" The Official *GROAN* Thread

I listed an item at £220 'buy it now' (start £150) and within an hour had some German woman hitting the 'buy it now' button and sending me this message:

Hello Seller,
This is just to let you know that i have made out immediate
payment for the item via Pay Pal. Check your mail for a confirmation of
Payment receipt which i beleive Pay Pal Must have sent you. I would like you
to go to the post office and post out the item to the Pay Pal
Confirmed Address via Royal Mail International Signed For and Tracking Provided
to

Name ; Okolo Albert
Address : 45 Olatunji st.
City : Ojota
State : Lagos.
Zip Code : 23401
Country : Nigeria.

Send a copy of the tracking number which you will be provided with at
the post office to me...Thanks.
Sandra.
Follwed by a "PayPal" looking reciept email saying she'd transferred the cash to me BUT:

Note:This PayPal®payment has been deducted from the buyer's account and has been "APPROVED" but will not be credited to your account until the shipment tracking number is sent to our customers service for shipment verification so as to secure both the seller and the buyer.
(pay-pal.us@emailaccount.com)
.................... although they are annoying as I now have to get my fees back, relist it, get scammed again, etc...

And now because you can't leave honest Feedback as a Seller, sellers do not know if they are dealing with a scammer !!!

I haven't bothered using it since they introduced that dumb rule, of sellers not been able to give bad feedback where applicable I've got nothing to hide and now I've got nothing much to gain

I only buy on there now.

Fees too high, you can't leave feedback and there are far too many dodgy people using it.

Add that to joke service that is paypal and selling on there is just hassle.

DCI:- Take a picture of your ****, print it out and send it to the scammer's address.

For added sarcasm, place an X on one of your **** cheeks a write "kiss here"

Alternately make full use of the space available and write something like:

"WELL, PRINCE, Genoa and Lucca are now no more than private estates of the Bonaparte family. No, I warn you, that if you do not tell me we are at war, if you again allow yourself to palliate all the infamies and atrocities of this Antichrist (upon my word, I believe he is), I don't know you in future, you are no longer my friend, no longer my faithful slave, as you say. There, how do you do, how do you do? I see I'm scaring you, sit down and talk to me....
.
.
.
... In the first case it was neccessary to surmont the sensation of an unreal immobility in space and to recognize a motion we did not feel. In the present case it is similarly neccessary to renounce a freedom that does not exist and to recognise a dependence of which we are not personally conscious."

They would be the first and last paragraphs of War and Peace.

I'll now be hiding and unavailable for some time

Ebay Novice here!

Oh, I see, you send out the item and the tracking number whereupon they promptly withdraw payment and wait for your item to arrive!
