Oh dear
I have what feels like a lump on the top of my ******** and it feels hard and feels like it's a part of the ********.
Anyone else been in a similar situation, im hoping it'll just go away but ignoring it would be foolish of me.
Would i need to see the doctor first then arrange to see a urologist?
Thanks

Get it checked out either way mate, doctors on monday.
In the meantime, any pain with it?
Only I had a lump when I was a kid, turned out I had twisted my nuts, and one had "popped". Causing the lump.
Very tender, but self healed.
Good luck at the docs mate

I don't smoke, i like the occasional drink and i exercise at least 2-3 times pw.
I do cycle a lot, whether or not it caused this lump who knows, thanks for the advice though.
Id do photo's but i don't have a zoom lens big enough.
Oh and there's no pain, everything works and feels as it should so to speak, oh ok now ive noticed it's not a part of the ******** but free floating hmm....
Cheers snaz.

If it is bothering you at all mate, and just niggling at you, call NHS Direct 0845-46-47
Pain getting through to a nurse at times, but worth a chat. That or lots more web searching. But we all know what sort of mixed results you can get from that.
Free floating, sounds like you might have had a growth or something which may have dropped off. That was the latter stage of mine anyway.
Glad you have a good frame of mind about it though, best way to be

Please note that free floating lumps in the ******* that are not attached in any way to a ******** are not testicular cancer. When in doubt, get it checked out - if only for peace of mind!
A free-floating lump in the ******* that is not attached to a ******** may be present but is not a cause for concern.

Just checked again and it's definitely shrunk so your probably right about it being a growth, still it did raise a few eyebrows, i will however keep a stern eye on things down below from now on, then again i did at any rate.
It's not niggling really just came as a surprise we all know how these things just come out of the blue, my grandfather died from cancer, lots of it as it spread throughout his body as he thought it was just a bit of backache and by the time they checked him it was way too late, shame as he was a top bloke.
But that's the only case that i know of in our very large family so chances are probably slim anyway.
Well no sense in worrying about what you can't control is there.
Edit: Thanks snaz, well after checking further i can see why i though it was attached, it isn't as i can move it about but it does sit very very close giving the impression that it was.
Pimmo: Yes it is right at the very top amongst the pipework.

could be what they call a hydrocill (sp)
its basically a cyst on the ********, that gets surrounded with fluid,
they can get bigger over time, and can either be removed or drained.
they were going to do mine when i had my snip, but decided to leave it.
see your gp matey

Well from what ive read if it is a cyst it's often best to leave alone as damage to the ******** can occur if operated on so they leave it alone unless it is causing a problem.

yep get to the doctors
it could be the tubes (cant remember the proper name for them)
for Testicular cancer you dont need to smoke or have history in your family, as neither are the cause

A bloke in our village had a cyst. He looked like he had bóllocks of a thousand Yaks in his denims. He was known locally as Nigel nads and his name was Dave.
Get it checked out though because Nige found driving difficult with such a huge live in lump.
