Massive Speed: Sportscars
Did anyone watch this (repeated) show on Channel 5 last night? Why did that smeghead android Chris Barrie fail to mention that all 3 of the "GT40"s that he featured were modern fakes? I've got nothing against people owning replicas, but for a national broadcaster to pass these off as the genuine article is pretty bad. He could have just said something along the lines of "unfortunately real GT40's now fetch a million pounds, so we have had to make do with driving a replica".
PS: he's no Jeremy Clarkson is he? I don't think he truly exploited the potential of that Veyron!

That may be true, but at least he knows when he's sitting in a kit-car and he wouldn't pussyfoot around at 30mph in a supercar. That show should have been titled: "Massive Waste: Sportscars".

The only use for such a car is a trackday now I'm afraid. Totally pointless to have a high performance car on today's crowded roads. Unless you are concerned with image of course!
