thing is, it must have been harder to build it in the first place, then repair it?
dis a bit searching and somebody in 2006 had budgeted 7million to repair it

I can't get onto that site on the work PC - it's blocked for some reason. If it's the one in Spain, we were there a couple of years ago. There's a long (safe) walk you can do on the other side of the gorge, and there were three foreign (German I think) people climbing along it. It was scary just watching them, and apparently you could get into trouble for doing it. The access to it was blocked off, so that even to get onto it one would have to climb around the blockage, with a considerable drop to the side. This in itself would have been enough to put anyone off I would have thought!
The weird thing is that it wasn't built all that long ago, so it hasn't exactly lasted very well! I wonder if it ever got much use...
