FFS! I've really noticed my outgoing increase in the last few months - mainly due to fuel and food increases (and getting a 0% pay increase - or in reality a pay cut, due to company way off targets due to credit crunch)

I'm lucky enough to have a fairly big disposible income due to not having a family, but I'm still feeling the pinch now. I hate to think how families with more mouths to feed are coping...

As a guess, because it goes for more than if they sell it here? Their job is to make money, not keep your prices down.

your not the only one our company has given us a 7 hour drop each week until further notice and they will pay us £38 for the 7 hours which works out minimum wage for 5 weeks then no more ,credit crunch or recession what ever you want to call it is really peeing me off and they say it will probably go on upto end of 2009

Because the UK does not have the capacity to store large quantities of gas.

We sell it to Europe in the summer and they basically rip us off in the winter when we want it back.

That's if they let us have it back at all!!

Great isn't it!!!
