Go and fill up tonight !
Now I don't know how accurate this is but I have a friend who has contacts at a small Oil company and the word is that fuel will go up by another 4p a litre tomorrow, so diesel will soar from the bargain price of 128.9 round here to 132.9.
Now it might be bollocks but I couldnt live with myself if I didnt mention it and it did happen.
Me, I don't care anymore, I am going to start using my push bike.

do you think if we all converted to LPG in the next week it would go up in price..I mean it's been years now since lpg was avaliable at fuel stations, but you still hardly see them around..why,because the goverment are making too much from fuel...

I do care but am sticking two fingers up to this fuel hike..It cant go on like this.I mean when you here about shell making record profits in the first three months of this year it is annoying..But because of there Greed, they dont realise or are to damn rolling in money to notice, they are destoying the very thing that is making them money..
Shell, BP etc make very little money from the Forecourt. They make most of their money elsewhere, and in fact UK Fuel prices are some of the cheapest in Europe, if not thee cheapest.
Want someone to blame? Try the Government Taxing your fuel. That's why prices are so high. All the current price rises have noting to do with the Government or oil companies, it's trader's in the city.
The Government could do something to help though. By cutting the VAT or Duty on fuel to bring prices down. Once oil prices slide, then the VAT/Duty could be put back up.
They just choose not to while pulling in an extra £150m+ a week.

I do not believe that the oil companies can justify a price rise like that for a litre of fuel and nor can the Gov justify the extra VAT etc that they are making and the windfall tax on the oil suppliers withouts giving a sizeable chunk of it back to the the people of this country!

I will be on more money, which is more than the current rate of inflation too, so my weekly shop as a percentage will be less than I am currently paying, so quids in for me really
I do think it is quite pointless now everyone moaning about the cost of fuel, no one will do anything of any significance anyway to make the prices come back down
In all honesty Im not that happy about the spiralling costs of fuel, but as an individual I cant do jack about it, except like all the millions of other people we just have to keep putting fuel in our tanks and drive our cars and pay the current going rate
