5 year paydeal secured by union at work (Aircraft engineering company)
5% /4% /3% /RPI+1.25% / RPI +1.25%
Im in 4th year of current paydeal so RPI +1.25% this year so i expect to see a payrise from 01/06 of 5.45%
Helps a little, but i suspect i will be no better off financially compared to this time last year.

This morning's news: food prices have risen on average 37% since last year. Fuel prices, not including petrol, up by over 40% with another HUGE whack to come.
Petrol prices up by over 30%. And STILL they insist inflation is 3%.
There are lies, damned lies and Labour lies

Whats a pay increase anyway? Is that like when you do some extra work and earn more money, or do you employed people expect to get extra money for doing the same work? When the recession really hits hard and we get deflation instead of inflation, are you all going to ask for less money?
