Default Yokohama Tyres

As above are they good these days?. Had them on my old mk2 golf gti a long time ago and they were good.

just seem cheaper than tyres like michelin, pirelli etc.

any views greatly appreciated.

I have some on my Porsche, I find them to be very good gripping tyres even under heavy load, but boy do they wear fast!!

To sum up: On rails in the dry, teflon in the wet. Wear like polystyrene on sandpaper.

Parada spec 2s are good all-rounders though, as they do actually hint at working fairly well in the cold and wet (ish). Which is quite impressive by Yoko standards

interesting, probably get some. they are going on a clio 172 so that will be interesting in the wet then.

i remember on my old mk2 golf gti they were very good.

always had toyos on the scooby though.

Always loved Yoko's and currently have Paradas on my 200bhp 205 and I think they are the best tyre I've had so far.

Wet grip was unreal at a soaking Oulton last November, and thats without a diff
