why 32? get a 40". Sony KDL-40D3500. Same as the V3000 but one less HDMI socket and mat finish rather than gloss black and 100 quid cheaper. Stay away from the Sammys.

Why stay away fro the Sammys? I have a 1080p 40" Sammy and the picture quality is better than my friends Bravia. Hasn't missed a beat either.

In reviews when they came out, scored as highly as Bravias too.

Oh brand snobbery.........

Models change too often to say 'oh go and get the SLFSD324' etc

IMO just try and get the best Sony, Panasonic, Samsung or Toshiba you can for the money, and you won't go far wrong.

For gaming you probably want to focus on good response times.

We have an oldish 26 inch Samsung and a 1080p Toshiba, both are fine for games, obviously the Toshiba is better being bigger and 1080P but even the little Samsung is great, way better than my old Sony CRT !

Sorry, not with the LCD objectors, CRT's are now skip fodder.

AOC monitors and LCD displays from Intekx Ltd - LCD-TV monitor, plasma monitor, HD quality, aoc, aoc monitors, aoc displays, aoc lcd, 32 inch monitor

I've got an AOC Lcd for gaming and i'm more than impressed with it, infact i'd go as far to say that the picture quality is as good if not better than some of the more expensive lcds i've seen 360's and ps3's on. Intekx our equaly as good to deal with, super fast delivery.

Not sure but almost all LCD TVs are still 8ms response times, some I think are down to 6ms, so still not "quick". Some games I'd imagine would be "blurry".

Nothing to do with brand snobbery. Check out AV forums Samsung owners thread and you will see why. Hundreds of pages of complaints, some people have returned up to 5 sets before buying something else.

The Sony V and D range have very few complaints.

Been looking for 5 months now and the Sammys were removed from my list months ago.

Sansmugs are OK for TV though, as I have one. Mind you the "Sansmugs" is used in a multitude of TVs.
