Default Tyre off rim

Discovered the tyre had come off the rim of my lawnmower this morning. Finally got the bladdy wheel off, now how do I reseal it on the rim? Tempted to try the Top Gear polar trick, except it'll probably catch fire. Any other bright ideas?

What tubeless lawnmower tyres?

Wow, must be some serious kit, as most have inner tubes; therefore don't need sealing

It worked... kind of. Except it didn't seal and the tyre receded back from the rim again!

Ok: googled this: Wild Card Question: Re-inflate Flat Tubeless Lawnmower Tire : DIY Network

Basically wrap a ratchet strap round the tread to hold the rim on the bead

Cheers Shark Man. The wheel's a bit too wide for that to work I think.

I'm going to try the policy of 'if in doubt, use more explosive stuff'.

Wish me luck...
