Mad..! why would anyone sane want to walk that??

Reminds me of a 'scenic route' we took in Cyprus...

The road turned out to be a very narrow dirt track cliff ledge... with great big pieces missing on the edge...it was horrible enough but then we realised it wasn't one way!!! I have never driven so slowly in all my life.... it was horrific I almost wet myself with fear

My hands are sweating and I feel quite sick watching that.

Couldn't even manage to watch the whole clip.

You know, when we go to Ireland this year, I was adamant I wouldn't cross this.....Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge (Causeway Coast and Glens)

But After seeing that footage, I think the bridge will be a walk in the park !

Mesmerising. Brilliant find.

Build-quality of the path is a little suspect though

I have a friend at work with the same fear. There was another who was afraid of feathers. I could go on... fear is irrational, but nevertheless, serious to those who have it.

No probs if I'm driving, I just go to the osl, look ahead, and accelerate Hate being a passenger on it though! I remember once getting stick on it due to roadworks, I could feel it bouncing up and down

"
The walkway has now gone many years without maintenance, and is in a highly deteriorated and dangerous state. It is one meter in width over a 700-meter fall, and over time it has lost its handrail. Some parts of the walkway have completely collapsed and have been replaced by a beam and a metallic wire on the wall. Many people have lost their lives on the walkway in recent years. After four people died in two accidents in 1999 and 2000, the local government closed the entrances. However, adventurous tourists still find their way into the walkway."

Try the Millau Viaduct, that is a seriously cool drive. The highest point is about Eiffel tower level above the river. Designed by Sir Norman Foster

I find it incredible that anyone would want to walk along that for pleasure

I managed to watch the whole thing but with my hand clamped firmly over my open mouth and I'm embarrassed to admit that I did let out the odd squeal of fear

I think I enjoyed it

Must agree that the Millau Viaduct is amazing, you used to be able to stop around where the top gear lot did when they did the supercar trip but dont think you can anymore. Truely an impressive site and feat of engineering, scenery is outstanding aswell.

That is amazing!
You'd never catch me on that, that's for sure. I'd love to know how they built it back in 1901 (by the look of the state of it, maintenance stopped on 1902).
