first half of the first game, mrs had gone out so need to get a beer. Imagine my disappointment when the sky plus live pause didnt work


Only got 3 beers in in the first half

Luckily half time, quick removal of the power supply had it working again

Now set up for the second game



this will probably go down as one of the most pointless threads ever

Fancy letting the back up go out. I'd get the Mrs back home lively.

These sort of situations should never happen if properly managed.

gonna get a contingancy plan for next season (or the european games), intensive training with my dog (gives less hassle han the mrs and doesnt ask questions! )

i set it up to record a film....

no probs, it showed recorded (60 mins) in the planner....

short film i thought, still never mind, and we settled down to watch....


only to be told the film continues after the news.....


yup you guessed it, Sky+ cant work out that there was a break, so we only got half a film, how crap is that

eff me you wanna try out virgin cable.been with telewest for years they still aint got no teletext working or volume control.the tv on demand is always unavailable,the programmes are ****.that Dave is a total w@nk.but for some reason i just cant go back to 5 channels.

I would blame ITV and not Sky for that. As it's up to the individual Television channels to provide the data for the sky planner to work properly. I take it there was no series link offered? Disclaimer: I don't work for Sky, just something I've seen on the subject in the past
Besides I have had internittent troble with my HD box either recording something then won't play back even though it's recorded. Showing as Failed. Or for some unknown reason the hard drive not spinning up and having to pull the plug to get it to work again.
