Default Wireless landline?

Not sure if this is possible, but I want to put a landline phone in a room that does not have a BT point.

Does such a thing exist that can plug into a land line BT point and send to a wireless receiver that is in turn pluggged into the back of a normal phone

Many wireless phones do just this. No need for a wireless receiver or anysuch thing. Just set phone to "point" to the "base station" (the phone plugged into the socket).

The phone in front of me in the the study is a BT Studio 1100 and it works fine and not wired in.

If you've only old phones then you may need to buy replacements (not expensive). Often you can buy a set with 2/3/4 handsets.

Look for a DECT phone. If you buy a 2 or 3 phone set, you get one base station with a phone, then other phones with chargers to put round the house / office.

But if you want to use a wired phone in the unwired room it's a bit tougher (eg a big button wired phone for your gran's bedroom).

You need something like this to connect a wired device to a dect base station where your line is.
Analogue Device To DECT Sender

But get professional advice, maybe someone on here can offer more.

Thanks everyone.

Basically it's HankScorpios phone in the Gran's room scenario.

My daughter was given a Pink Fluffy bog standard BT phone which she loves, I would like to get it wired up, but I am not running a wire into her room.

Really just looking for a simple plug and go gadget, the Analogue Device To DECT Sender HS mentions is perfect, but not at £100
