Miss Simmons said the Princess gave her the landmines dossier, which was up to six inches thick, and she kept it for several months under her mattress along with the note.
Later, she burned them. She said: "I was more than nervous. If I had the material, I might have been bumped off as well."

I didn't hate her, I just couldnt understand why people liked her
I remember working opposite the golden gates in Warrington and being absolutely flummoxed at the thousands of bunches of flowers being placed on the pavement
I remember my complete indifference when I heard about the accident and my great day out mountain biking on the day of her funeral...
I think this inquest is a complete waste of time, money and lives and wish the daily express would print something else for a chance

Maybe she wasn't treated fairly by the royal family but two wrongs don't make a right.
I find the whole issue slightly tasteless to be fair.

Of course this inquest is utterly pointless.. she died in an accident, thats it.. the suggestion that the security service or SIS were responsible for her death is so stupid its almost funny - as is the suggestion that GCHQ were "tapping" her telephones.
Anyone only needs to look at the hellish bit of legislation that is the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act can see that.. unless your a loony conspiracy theorist.. in which case they should keep wearing that tin-foil hat to protect them from those evil CIA mind-readers..

You could argue that some of her behaviour wasn't exactly proper for a Princess hence the lack of sympathy from some all these years later.
