Any mobile phone experts on here?
Got my phone unlocked and put my sim in and got my service provider to send me a sim update thinking this would put in my mms settings and data settings however it hasn't. I can go back to the shop where I got it unlocked and have them put my service providers software on but wanted to avoid this if possible.
Can you set these settings up manually? Its an SE K800i that was on Vodaphone and now using an Orange sim. Phone calls etc are fine, just no mms/data settings currently.
The manual sent for the phone from Vodaphone is useless and worst mobile phone manual i've seen.

Can try entering the settings manually, but seem to remember something about the vodafone firmware locking the mms settings, if you have a branded handset?
Can probably de-brand it for free if you trust the software floating about, XS++, and will need the generic firmware files.

Or one of the pay sites/shops if you don't want to risk it.

Try this...
This is the link for mms/data... click the link at the bottom of the page, it will ask you to choose your handset, then enter your mobile number.

All working now. Yes its been unlocked from Vodafone by a local shop. Trawled the Orange website and found a very impressive service that didn't know existed. Just put in your phone make and model, your mobile number and it sends you a txt with all the settings to automatically install. MMS and WAP now working Cheers Steve for that suggestion as I didn't think settings would be provided like that!
