Is anyone else on here having trouble with a Tiscali connection? It keeps disconnecting, and I'm not sure if it's them or BT It's been going on for a week now, and it's driving me scrofulous!

BT say there isn't a fault on the line, but it happens intermittently and the upstairs phone extension keeps 'pinking', even when the pc isn't on. Tiscali said my modem wasn't connected properly (it is!).

Had the same problems with them,changed over to a proper company

I've been with them for a while, and it's been ok up until now. I have a gut feeling it's BT, because it's ever since we had high winds just over a week ago, and the local exchange went down for a while, plus the fact that the phone makes those noises, even when the pc isn't on.

Are you with the 'ACME' Hinternet Co. now?

Change immediately, I had similar problems with BT and swapped to SKY. Never had a problem since. We can't have you crying now.
