I don't normally attempt humour as it is best left to people better qualified like Swisstony
Anyhow here is one I heard on the radio t'other day.
A buddhist goes to a dentist for a tooth removal. Oddly he shuns anaesthetic or any form of pain killer. When questioned why he replies 'I want to transcend dental medication'.
