Drove North from Sheffield up the M1 last night around 11pm through the most violent thunderstorm I can recall. Some stunning lightning and truly torrential rain.

One thing struck me as strange, do we normally get storms like that in December??

Glad you made it in one piece.i was drunk lastnight so would'nt of noticed if a tornado came through the house..but i hate the high winds,because my scoob is out parked on the drive,and outside our house overlooking the drive is the biggest tree in the street..im just waiting for the day when i hear someone shouting TIMBERRRRRR and im shouting,,OHHHH NOOOO MY SCOOBYYYYYYY..

the winds the other night were exceptional, had to re felt the shed sat morning.

yup, yesterday night sounds bad, rain winds etc, it must have scared the people who had flooding earlier this year
