Question Quick mobile phone question

Moving to Australia next week.

Will my phone be compatible over there with a new sim

Depends if is single dual tri or quad band mate.
What is it ?

GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900

Tri-Band phone can be used widely in North America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia.

Was working fine 6 years ago, I'm sure they have bettered the service by now.
Just make sure you have roaming enabled and active with your service provider.
The thing even worked at Uluru.

A sim is a sim, whether bought over there or taken over from here...
Either way, service was pretty good, even in the remote parts is what I was getting at.
