Was working fine 6 years ago, I'm sure they have bettered the service by now.
Just make sure you have roaming enabled and active with your service provider.
The thing even worked at Uluru.

A sim is a sim, whether bought over there or taken over from here...
Either way, service was pretty good, even in the remote parts is what I was getting at.
