Scrape the stinger out if there is one still in there.
Ice pack on the sting, but not for more than a couple of mins at a time or you risk killing the flesh.

Prolly should call an ambulance if you start wheezing. HTH.

What to use will depend on what stung you, what is good for a wasp sting (acid) is not good for a bee sting as it is acid and you should use an alkali. In general something like anthesan from the chemist will ease most bites / stings.

Possibly a spider. Some of them can sting, use some antiseptic cream or like Suresh suggests some ice.

Only a theory I'm probably wrong. It's just that the mild Autumn has meant that a lot of the insects that would normally die haven't. Anyhow I doubt if it was a spider, more likely a wasp or something.

Stand in the room making lots and lots of different bird noises. Spiders are scared of birds (natural predators) and it'll be sure to run away. Or die laughing at your bird impressions

Why do you lot persist in flouting the evolutionary course with half-baked offerings of ill-informed help& advice ?

Just let them hurt, they'll soon learn

If it was a bee it'll be dead, a wasp cannot penetrate thick gloves.

Evening Tam. I had just about dispelled that notion, now how is poor Lou going to sleep tonight?!
