Red face ALL JOKING ASIDE !!!!!!

Errrm - Stung about one hour ago and three fingers have swollen up

Seriously now folks - Anyone here a medic?

Don't suggest for a minute that it could mean anaphylactic shock ?

But at what point would you consider it wise to contact a Dr.?

Do you suffer with any allergies at all ?

Maybe time for a doc then

You are having some sort of reaction to it. Are you sure you don't know what did it?

Whats that number you can call, is it NHS direct or something. They talk you through things like this to help decide what it is you should do.

You will most probably be fine, had a friend who had the same thing. The whole of his arm swelled up for a couple of days and then he was fine. I'm just no a doc, so don't know

If theres no other problems, such as palpitations, then your not in serious danger just swollow half a packet of anti-histamine when ever you can get to one

The sting is most likely still attached to the wasp. Bees leave leave them behind to keep pumping venom into the victim. My 3 year old got stung in his ear by one of the latter two weeks ago whilst helping his dad wash the car. I did lots of Googling to find out what to do. Finally, ice did the trick for him.

If you're concerned then call a doctor for serious advice and not waste your time here!

Good luck!

Your hand prolly wont know either way - you could always chop it off , bit extreme but the pain will be gone in an instant
