Yeah they tend to make those noises rather than the usual barking you get from dogs Quite a nice characteristic, guess one of the more gimmick things that made me choose a Malamute lol.
As a pup they are quite chatty but by all accounts quieten down a fair bit as they get older.
Just actually starting to suss out what some of it means. Different noises and tones for each thing, toilet, happy etc lol. Not an exact science but there is something there.
Cheers by the way, and sorry for messing with ya Staffie lol

Nasty slice on our dogs paw this morning (on the large pad of her front leg). A real gash and a half and loads of blood - no point (I don't think) going to the vet but it made me feel pretty queasy this morning!
Keeping her inside for now until it hopefull heals up.

How she done that mate. Worth a trip to the vet to get it cleaned up and stop it getting infected, unless you are sure you are able to yourself.

Snazy - wife and I have quite good experience of dealing with wounded animals so we've thoroughly cleaned it up and are keeping her away from any mud (tricky when she needs the toilet!).
She's chewed any dressings off almost straight away so we'll just have to keep an eye on her.

The talking it getting funnier and funnier by the day now, and he is starting to repsond to hand signals
He is getting JUST too big to get under the bed now, but has decided its a new game to scramble under the bed and crawl from one side to the other... But gets stuck half way.... Hilarious and worthy of being on film before he gets too big to do it
Matteeboy, lovely pic that mate, glad she is on the mend
